Please join us for lunch on Tuesday as President Anita McDonald and International Service Director Chrystal Skead will lead us through the Action Planning process, which began with two lengthy brainstorming sessions earlier this year.

This will be your opportunity to help the club continue moving forward as an impactful community service provider.

We welcomed Christian Van Dam, who is the proud father of our current exchange student, Rachelle.

Christian works at a Forensic Mental Health Hospital in the Netherlands. He presented his expertise in this field.

Remembering Paul

Dear Club Members, 

Please see Alice's update below regarding the Celebration of Life for Paul Clark. 

Hello neighbours,
Drew is sharing this, and we invite you to honour and celebrate the life of our dear friend, Paul Clark.

Paul lived a full and generous life. He was kind, adventurous, and endlessly curious, and he was happiest when surrounded by friends—sharing stories, music, and laughter. He touched so many lives, and we would love to gather together to celebrate everything he meant to us.

Please join us for a Celebration of Life on May 2, from 1:00–5:00 p.m., at Paul’s home.

This will be a time to connect, remember, and honour Paul in the way he would have loved.
All who knew and loved him are welcome

It is time to work on the meeting duties for 2026/27, which starts on July 1, 2026.

Volunteer positions include Setup/Takedown, Attendance, Sergeant and Audio Visual.

By choosing a month to support our club, you will be asked to volunteer for 2 or 4 meetings.

Volunteering early allows you to select the prime spots.

Sergeant's duties are wrapped up, except for the 2nd meeting of the month.  This is an opportunity to gently poke fun at your fellow members and raise some cash for the club, and if you are the Sergeant, you are free from fines.

Attendance-taking is a great way to put faces to names, especially valuable for new members.  And, for seasoned members, an opportunity to connect with new members.

Audio Visual needs a bit of training, but keep in mind that two members did most of the meetings this past year.  We need to avoid volunteer fatigue.

Please consider volunteering for meeting duties, and be prepared to see a sign-up sheet at the next meeting.

Thank you for giving this your attention, and for volunteering.  We cannot do this without you!
