Our January 27th event will be a MIDDAY event at the Cochrane Bowling Lanes. Lunch will be at NOON at Cochrane Bowling Lanes which features a full menu as well as your choice of bevies. Bowling will be from 1 PM to 2 PM. There will be room for 24 Rotarians and Guests to bowl. Cost for Bowling will be $15 per person.

Its mission is to help Rotary clubs in Ukraine find partners and support for their projects and Peter Chaburski, President of Inter Country Committee Canada-Ukraine Rotary Club of Ottawa West will be making a presentation on their vision and goals. |

Kari Rose founded the Cochrane Cares Walking and Running Club. This women-led running community was started in 2020 to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering space for women to come together through movement. Also, Kari and her club members hosted The Secret Marathon Film Fund Raiser which was shown on June 25th and to date has raised $9,273 for Classrooms Without Walls the organization founded by Davis Falconer. Kari is a Natural Health Practitioner and her mantra is : Movement is Medicine. Menu: Assorted Pizza |

Jason is currently the Director of Fund Development at Recovery Acres Calgary Society leading major fundraising initiatives to expand treatment options for individuals in recovery, including a capital campaign for a new women’s facility. He was previously a peer support worker and a volunteer with the Society.
In addition to his activities with the society, Jason has been an extremely successful entrepreneur building and optimizing construction enterprises.
Jason has been quite a stalwart supporter for the Recovery Acres Society. He owes a lot to the Society; Jason is a recovering addict who came very close to losing his life to addiction. The Recovery Acres assisted him in overcoming his addiction and helping him to become the outstanding individual that he is today.

Robert Hayes is President and and CEO of Calgary Sports & Entertainment Corporation, assuming this position in June 2024. A native of Halifax, Mr. Hayes prior to his current role had a 35+ year career in the financial sector, working throughout Canada and the US. He held numerous Senior Executive positions that included leading client facing teams focused on areas such as mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, sports & entertainment, private banking, risk management, and international. This has allowed him to gain a deep understanding across multiple industries and assist Canadian clients in growing their business operations. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University, FCMA, FCPA, and ICD.D designations. He has completed Executive Leadership & Strategic Management programs at Northwestern University, University of Western Ontario, and University of Toronto. In the community Mr. Hayes presently sits on the Calgary Flames Foundation, Calgary Stampeders Foundation, Calgary Economic Development, Calgary Film Centre, and Prostate Cancer Centre Boards. Historically he has served on the Calgary Stampede Foundation $100 million capital campaign committee, served three terms on the United Way Executive Campaign Cabinet, Chaired the Wood’s Homes Foundation Board and assisted with a Capital Campaign and CEO search, was a Westside Recreation Centre board member where he Chaired the Human Resources Committee, and was a member of the Peter Lougheed Centre Development Council for over 10 years. In 2013 Mr. Hayes was recognized as one of Alberta's 50 most influential people.
