A big thanks and job well done to all of the active volunteers in our club.

It is time to start thinking of the roster of meeting duties for 2026/27.

Volunteer opportunities include Set-up/take down, Attendance, Sergeant, and Audio/visual.

We have about 600 meeting duty volunteer opportunities for our 48 members.

Please give serious consideration to where you can be of assistance.

Thank you!

-Leslie

Bike Cochrane’s mission is to serve Cochrane by promoting and advocating for cycling in our community.

Bike Cochrane's vision is to develop a cycling-friendly culture in Cochrane by implementing safe infrastructure for transportation, recreation, and competition. They will participate regularly as a recognized stakeholder group in road and community planning, park (re)development, construction projects and area transportation plans, work with public and private land owners and managers to allow public cycling trails and assist in providing and maintaining access to cycle pathways, trails and facilities, for use by the public.

We welcomed fellow Rotarian Bruce Tannas and Monica Ercolessi of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets (RCAC) Squadron 952, which is part of a national youth program administered by the Canadian Armed Forces and supported by the Air Cadet League of Canada. It is open to youth aged 12 to 18 and is designed to develop leadership, citizenship, physical fitness, and an interest in aviation. Cadets are not members of the military and are under no obligation to join the Canadian Armed Forces.

Martin presents the Rotary Club of London pennant to   President Anita.

Sergeant-at-Arms is a regular part of Rotary Clubs, usually happening near the end of general Club meetings. It is a long-standing tradition practiced by many Rotary Clubs around the world. It is a fun way to poke affectionately fun at club members while raising funds for the greater good of the community and our world.

Howdy from Hank!
