Baby, it's cold outside!
 

On February 28, Helping Hands Cochrane is hosting the Coldest Night of the Year, a 2 + 5 km winterrific walk hosted in 190+ cities across Canada in support of our work in Cochrane, AB, with people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.
 
THE GOAL: Help us raise $75,000 by February 28, 2026, and prove that cold weather cannot stop warm hearts.

Amazing Miles!
   
Miles Chester with a model ship he is building of the HMS Huron for the Canadian Naval Museum of Alberta in Calgary. 
 
 
Rotary Club of Cochrane Treasurer Glen Gryzko presents a cheque to Dianne and Kelly Kimmett, Founders of the Lindsay Leigh Kimmett Memorial Foundation. The Foundation helps youth, students, and local community members by supporting scholarships, children’s and youth programs, medical education initiatives, and community sports and facilities in and around Cochrane.

Sergeant-at-Arms is a regular part of Rotary Clubs, usually happening near the end of general Club meetings. It is a long-standing tradition that it done by many Rotary Clubs around the world. It is a fun way to humorously and affectionately poke fun at club members, while raising funds that will be used for the greater good of the community and our world.
 
Rachelle thanked Club members for their support in helping her get new skates so that she could play "ice" hockey for the first time!
ClubRunner Nova -What is it?
 
ClubRunner Nova is the new, modernized version of the ClubRunner platform used by Rotary clubs and districts to manage members, websites, events, and finances. It replaces the classic interface with an updated, mobile‑friendly system built on a unified database and newer architecture.

The MAN-Van is Coming!
Men, get a free blood test to help with the early detection of possible prostate cancer.
 
When: January 23rd, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm
