On Friday, 2nd. May, at Glenbow Elementary School, the Grade 4 students of the Glenbow Rotary EarlyAct Club held their annual 3km run/walk for charity. Many students, from other grades, joined them for the event.

After much discussion and a vote, it was decided that the funds raised would be split between the Cochrane Humane Society and the Boys and Girls Club of Cochrane.
The students collected $263, in Loonies and Toonies, which Martin Parnell rounded up to $300 and the students received a generous donation of $100 from the Cochrane Rotary Club's Community Services Committee.

On Thursday, 15th. May Sue Carpenter-Parnell delivered cheques for $200 each to the chosen charities, along with some items donated by the students.
