Our Club supplied birthday cake and ice cream for Bethany Care residents who had birthdays in September. We do this on behalf of Rotary every year at this time.

Hank asked that the following information be shared with our Club members via our Club Bulletin…

Hello Rotarians of District 5360 🥺

The latest news coming out of Ukraine is grim - the living situation is getting more intense and complicated because of the increased missile and rocket attacks by Russia.
https://ua.news/ua/war-vs-rf/rosiiani-vdarili-po-tsentru-kropivnitskogo-ie-postrazhdali

We are getting ready to send over (by the 2nd week of October), a portion of the donations already collected to our partner Rotary clubs in Ukraine.

They can use the funds for winter preparations: food, Generators/Fuel, Water, etc.

Any level of support at this stage would be greatly appreciated by recipients in Ukraine. Clubs or Individuals can contribute to ICC Canada-Ukraine. If possible, please circulate to club members directly 🙏 and to a wider audience, if possible 🙏

For e-transfers, please use this email: icc.canada.ukraine@gmail.com
Contact us for cheque & mailing details.

Thank you very much.

Yours in Rotary Service,
