The Bow RiversEdge Campground is a joint initiative of Cochrane's Rotary and Lions clubs. Each year, they award grants from their profits to projects aimed at improving the quality of life for residents in Cochrane and area. AGM was held July 19, 2022.
Judie & Michael Bopp will present an update on the Pakistan project.
This is an opportunity to learn about what our Pakistan global grant is doing in a new part of the country. It brings an important challenge as the social and economic conditions there are difficult indeed.

July 19 meeting re-cap
Lucy Stuckey and Akku Parmarfrom Cochrane High School Interact Club reported on their activities. They have 55 members, which changes year-to-year as students move through school grades.
Bob MacLeod reported on an awesome Campbell River Rotary Club project to build Elk Falls suspension bridge. Bob showed an informative video.
Jacob Flintholm, a Rotary Youth Exchange participant from Denmark in 2001/02, gave a heart-warming account of his experience in Cochrane and how it affected him so very positively. He brought his wife- Mette, and twin sons- Lucas and Noah. Jacob was clear about the importance of Rotary continuing with Youth Exchanges.
