October 29th Meeting Recap
Cindy Tester began her journey with Rotary when she was sponsored by her home Stettler Club to be and Exchange Student to South Africa.  (Cindy shows off her pins in the photo above.)  She spent 24 years working in the human resources industry, and is now deciding on a new career.  She is supported by her two children, Leland 13, and Jesse 11, and her husband Graham.  She served with Canadian Parents for French here in Cochrane, and organized a French Film Fest at the Cochrane Movie House which has had great attendance.
Hank Pilotte is presented with the distinguished Paul Harris Fellow Award by Bob MacLeod
Paul Clark has started an annual tradition of donating trees growing on his property west of Cochrane to the Boys and Girls Club, so they can sell them as Christmas trees as a fundraiser.
Alex explained that earlier this year a number of members of our Club went out to Paul's property and marked which trees are to be harvested on November 22nd.  We are looking for volunteers to bring your various levels of lumberjack skills to the fun!
Anita and Dan announced that it is that time again for nominations to the Board for the 2024-2025 Year, including the President Nominee.
REMINDER - Our AGM is December 3rd!
