Dan asked for volunteers for the Soup Kitchen on the 26th, or you are welcome just to come for lunch at noon.
Keith advised that we will be buying a Remembrance Wreath from the Legion and he will lay it on the 11th.

PolioPlus Society
President Keith presented Sue and Martin with certificates and pins for being members of the PolioPlus Society. To join the Society you pledge to contribute at least $100 each year until the World Health Organization certifies that Polio has been fully eradicated and the world is polio-free. Lynn Huynh, guest speaker, was introduced by Martin as they are both part of the professional speakers organization. Lynn spoke about the journey that her family made leaving Vietnam and coming to Canada as refugees, as well as her success at running races in four deserts and breaking 3 records in the process. Her presentation was about being Wonder-Full: to use the Power of Wonder, Ask Better Questions when your are met with roadblocks, and to Cultivate a Curious Mindset.
