The Rotary Book Club meets on ZOOM the third Monday of the month from 7pm to 8pm.
 
The Book Club choice for April is
Longbourn by Jo Baker written in 2013. It tells the story of Pride and Prejudice from the perspective of the staff of the Bennett household.

March 18th Business Meeting Notes
(Trans-Canada) Trail:
  • A great deal of progress is being made
  • None of our club funds have been used thanks to extensive fundraising outside of our Club.
  • Jurisdictional partners have signed Memorandum of Understanding #2.
  • Within the next 12 months, the Town of Cochrane will take over responsibility for Stage 1  - Cochrane to Calgary.
 
Rotary Foundation:
  • Dan recognized Allan with the Paul Harris Fellow + 1 pin for his contribution to the Rotary Foundation. Allan shared the credit for this with Chrystal.

Ria's Report:

  • "I'm dressed for "Adam Sandler Day", NOT as Supergirl!"
  • I went to the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary with Cindy and Denise
  • I went to the Calgary Fish Hatchery with Denise
