January 28th: "Pool Party"!

About 30 members and guests enjoyed food, drinks, playing pool, conversation and fun. Great club event. Thanks Hank and Clark for organizing it.

Howard said, "Watch me clear the table with my next shot!"

MTA 2025 Beneficiary Applications are now open

The Monumental Tournament of Aces (MTA) is planned for Saturday, Oct.4 at the Links of GlenEagles

This will be the 18th year this special event and fundraiser has been held in Cochrane. It is not a typical golf tournament. Participants do not need to be golfers. MTA is a fun and creative way to enjoy playing golf, with a variety of food and drinks, plus a terrific clubhouse banquet after.

We are now accepting applications from local organizations to receive funds from this annual Cochrane fundraiser.

Applications must be received by Feb. 28.
Applications will be reviewed during March.
  • Selected organization(s) will be identified by April 1.
Guidelines for applications are posted on our website. Click MTA applications to review them to ensure your application qualifies.
Also, there is a link at the top of our website that takes you to the application details.

Selected beneficiaries are expected to:
  1. present their application to members of the Rotary Club of Cochrane
  2. use their resources to promote the event
  3. help source business sponsors
  4. provide participants for golfing and the banquet
  5. provide donations for the silent and live auctions
  6. provide volunteers
  7. present to banquet attendees about their organization and plans for the funds they will receive
  8. attend a Rotary meeting in October to receive their funds.
MTA is a joint fundraiser of the Rotary Club Cochrane and the Lindsay Leigh Kimmett Memorial Foundation.

Member Memories...

Our dear Rotary Club of Cochrane member, Paul Clark, serenades us by playing "When Irish Eyes are Smiling" on his harmonica.

Lovely, Paul. Thank you!
