District Governor Steve Leavitt and his wife Pat visited on Sep. 13. Steve gave a great presentation, then called on members to state their heritage and their "Rotary Imagine". Picture: Chair Martin Parnell presents flowers to Pat. Awesome meeting. Thank-you Steve and Pat!
Raising support 
We are raising support for an Indigenous Centre by raising our new tipi at public events. Raising #3 is Sep. 18th at Boys & Girls Club.
Himat Fundraiser - Sept 15
 
Michael and Judie organized and hosted a successful fundraiser for this Pakistan project. Concerted phone calling yielded a good turn-out to listen to music, learn about the project, and bid on auction items. Melissa emceed. Both musical groups were crowd pleasers.

The Town of Cochrane Parks & Recreation Committee is leading a Pathway System Gap Analysis to develop a Recreation Master Plan. Our Rotary Club is invited to send 2 representatives on Sept 29 from 5:30 to 7:30. If interested, notify me by Sep. 22.
