Imagine...

Imagine if Melissa didn’t know she had been in contact with someone who was positive for Covid until Wednesday!

So, would we be worried? Would we be trying to remember what we did and whether we had kept socially distant, worn a mask and sanitized our hands at the Rotary Club meeting on Tuesday? I guess we would have been hoping Melissa was wearing a mask and keeping socially distant. Would we have done those things more diligently “if only we had known”?

It’s so easy to let our guard drop, especially when things are going well and we’re returning to “normal”. The problem is we have to get 10 out of 10 in order to keep safe and for us to keep others safe. There’s no blame; it’s so easy to slip back into old ways. I just wanted to encourage everyone to pretend either they have Covid or the person next to them has it. We may not be so lucky next time that one of us got to know about the potential before the meeting and was able to not join us that day.
