Canada Day Musical Tour and Movie Under the Stars

We toured 4 senior homes with the flatbed (compliments of Scott) and ended up at the Young Professionals’ “movie under the stars”. Thanks to Michael and Judie for arranging for the duo “The Pauls”. They were a hit! A big thanks to Jackie and Kevin for organizing the tour, and Alex for hooking everything up and driving us around.
Well done club!

Canada announces new commitment to support polio eradication
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s more important than ever to recognize the power of vaccines and immunizations, which save millions of lives each year. The Canadian government has announced a four-year financial commitment to support the endgame strategy of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI).

Rotary clubs throughout Canada welcomed the new pledge as a continuation of the country’s leadership and partnership to support polio eradication. Canadian Rotary clubs have worked closely with the Canadian government since 1986, when the country became a donor in the fight to end polio. Since then, Canadian Rotarians have contributed more than US$41.3 million to PolioPlus
