BRECS Re-Investment Awards Evening
At the Oct 2nd event, $64,000 was distributed amongst the attendees. As well an additional $7,400 was awarded this year prior to the event due to timing challenges for the applicants.
BRECS has been re-investing into the community since 2006. Over the past 14 years a total of $998,940 has been awarded including $100,000 to the Rock the Waves campaign for the new pool. Over this same period of time, the Lions and Rotary clubs have each received a total of $420,000.
Despite the initial risk borne by the founders, BRECS through the campground has met and even exceeded all expectations.
