The Cochrane Rotary Club has joined with the Lindsay Leigh Kimmett Memorial Foundation in order to help raise enough money through their annual golf tournament for an ultrasound machine.

Starting in 2008 the Kimmett family has run the Monumental Tournament of Aces in memory of their daughter Lindsay, who died in a car crash, with the goal of supporting initiatives that reflect Lindsay’s own efforts to help people, which range from helping fund medical projects to helping bring education to children in Africa.

This year the Foundation is working with Rotary to bring an ultrasound to Cochrane’s Urgent Care facilities.
