Construction has wrapped up on Centennial Park, the new home of the town’s second and latest inclusive playground.

The current playground is at the end of its life and lacks reduced mobility-friendly aspects.

With the new equipment, children with disabilities will have more access to the park features including a climbing net with seats, two ground-level trampolines and low-rise musical equipment.

The group behind the initiative, Variety, the Children’s Charity of Alberta, has raised over $350,000 from the community, including $40,500 from the Rotary Club and the Monumental Tournament of Aces.
